My Portfolio

A sampling of my UX work.

My approach to design is different

In the last 25 years I've met hundreds of designers. Less than five percent of those designers share my background in computer science, IT, and code. We 5% solve the same design problems, but our solutions are quicker to market, cheaper, and scale in fewer iterations.

That said, I have an undiminished passion for user centric design, and have been building and testing mockups and design prototypes with my potential users and visitors since 2001. Along the way I have used every design tool (MS Paint the first time!) but believe that Figma is a major game changer by incorporating collaboration and C.S. concepts like functions into an amazing DesignOps powerhouse. Another fundamental aspect to my design philosophy is "we are not the user" so to me, research before design is as fundamental as QA is to any software release.

Below is a sampling of projects that represent my combined approach of design and deep understanding of technology.

NOTE: I am a leader. The deliverables and the success of these programs were only made possible by the amazing contributions of a whole team of design professionals with whom I partnered.
